SUMMARY: Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest is a serious public health problem worldwide. The annual incidence is estimated at around 400 000 cases in Europe and the United States, and survival rates scarcely reach 10%. However, there is considerable variation between countries and even between regions that share a similar health care system within a single country. Information recorded by the Out-of-Hospital Spanish Cardiac Arrest Registry (OHSCAR) provides information on care provided by emergency ambulance services, final health outcomes after cardiac arrest cases (including variations), the possibility of organ donation, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. This paper presents the OHSCAR report for Spanish emergency services for the year 2022.


RESUMEN: La parada cardiorrespiratoria extrahospitalaria (PCREH) es un grave problema de salud pública mundial, con una incidencia anual estimada entorno a entorno a los 350.000 y 400.000 casos de PCERH en Europa y Estados Unidos, respectivamente. La supervivencia final se sitúa en porcentajes que apenas alcanzan el 10%, aunque existe una importante variabilidad entre países e incluso entre regiones del mismo país con modelos de atención similares. En España, el Registro Español de Parada Cardiaca Extrahospitalaria (acrónimo OHSCAR) ha ofrecido información sobre la asistencia a la PCRE prestada por los servicios de emergencias (SEM) y sus resultados finales en salud, así como sobre variabilidad, posibilidades de programas de donación o impacto de la pandemia COVID-19. A continuación se presenta el informe OHSCAR correspondiente a la asistencia a la PCRE por los SEM españoles durante el año 2022.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of a focal vibration protocol added to an activation protocol with active muscle contractions and to see what repercussions it has on sprint, countermovement jump (CMJ), and lower limb isometric strength. A double-blind randomized clinical trial was conducted in the Functional Anatomy Laboratory and the sample consisted of 70 athletes. The main outcome measures were knee extension force, CMJ, sprint, and surface electromyography. Repeated-measures analysis of variance revealed significant improvements. They were found in the within-group analysis for the Experimental Group in the isometric extension force (p < 0.001; η2 = 0.368), CMJ (p < 0.001; η2 = 0.301) and 30 m sprint (p < 0.001; η2 = 0.376). In the electromyography, there are changes in the Sham Group in all muscles, in CMJ and Sprint tests, and no differences in the Experimental Group, except for the RF muscle. In the between-group analysis, statistically significant differences were found only in favor of the Experimental Group in CMJ (p = 0.017; η2 = 0.81) and 30 m sprint (p < 0.001; η2 = 0.152). These results confirm a significant improvement in the sprint, CMJ performance, and quadriceps strength, after a focal vibration protocol, added to a muscle active contraction, compared to a focal vibration sham protocol. Therefore, our results suggest that the focal vibration can be a very useful tool in sports involving high-powered actions.

In the field of soil mechanics, especially in transportation and environmental geotechnics, the use of machine learning (ML) techniques has emerged as a powerful tool for predicting and understanding the compressive strength behavior of soils especially graded ones. This is to overcome the sophisticated equipment, laboratory space and cost needs utilized in multiple experiments on the treatment of soils for environmental geotechnics systems. This present study explores the application of machine learning (ML) techniques, namely Genetic Programming (GP), Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), Evolutionary Polynomial Regression (EPR), and the Response Surface Methodology in predicting the unconfined compressive strength (UCS) of soil-lime mixtures. This was for purposes of subgrade and landfill liner design and construction. By utilizing input variables such as Gravel, Sand, Silt, Clay, and Lime contents (G, S, M, C, L), the models forecasted the strength values after 7 and 28 days of curing. The accuracy of the developed models was compared, revealing that both ANN and EPR achieved a similar level of accuracy for UCS after 7 days, while the GP model performed slightly lower. The complexity of the formula required for predicting UCS after 28 days resulted in decreased accuracy. The ANN and EPR models achieved accuracies of 85% and 82%, with R2 of 0.947 and 0.923, and average error of 0.15 and 0.18, respectively, while the GP model exhibited a lower accuracy of 66.0%. Conversely, the RSM produced models for the UCS with predicted R2 of more than 98% and 99%, for the 7- and 28- day curing regimes, respectively. The RSM also produced adequate precision in modelling UCS of more than 14% against the standard 7%. All input factors were found to have almost equal importance, except for the lime content (L), which had an average influence. This shows the importance of soil gradation in the design and construction of subgrade and landfill liners. This research further demonstrates the potential of ML techniques for predicting the strength of lime reconstituted G-S-M-C graded soils and provides valuable insights for engineering applications in exact and sustainable subgrade and liner designs, construction and performance monitoring and rehabilitation of the constructed civil engineering infrastructure.

Psoriasis has been related to metabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease and, liver fibrosis. This study aimed to evaluate the prevalence of liver fibrosis in psoriasis and identify predictors for fibrosis. This is a cross-sectional study conducted from December 2012 to June 2016 assessing psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis patients attended at four centers in Mexico City. Data regarding history of the skin disease, previous and current medication, and previously diagnosed liver disease was collected. Liver fibrosis was assessed with four different non-invasive methods (FIB4, APRI, NAFLD score and elastography). We compared data based on the presence of fibrosis. Adjusted-logistic regression models were performed to estimate OR and 95% CI. A total of 160 patients were included. The prevalence of significant fibrosis using elastography was 25% (n = 40), and 7.5% (n = 12) for advanced fibrosis. Patients with fibrosis had higher prevalence of obesity (60% vs 30.8%, P = 0.04), type 2 diabetes (40% vs 27.5%, P = 0.003), gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase levels (70.8±84.4 vs. 40.1±39.2, P = 0.002), and lower platelets (210.7±58.9 vs. 242.8±49.7, P = 0.0009). Multivariate analysis showed that body mass index (OR1.11, 95%CI 1.02-1.21), type 2 diabetes (OR 3.44, 95%CI 1.2-9.88), and gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase (OR 1.01, 95%CI1-1.02) were associated with the presence of fibrosis. The use of methotrexate was not associated. Patients with psoriasis are at higher risk of fibrosis. Metabolic dysfunction, rather than solely the use of hepatotoxic drugs, likely plays a major role; it may be beneficial to consider elastography regardless of the treatment used. Metabolic factors should be assessed, and lifestyle modification should be encouraged.

Introduction: Recent data are not available on ongoing CPR for emergency services with an onboard physician. The aim of the present study was to identify factors associated with the decision to transport patients to hospital with ongoing CPR and examine their survival to hospital discharge with good neurological status. Methods: An observational study based on a registry of out-of-hospital cardiac arrests attended to by emergency services with an onboard physician. All OHCA cases occurring between the 1st of January and the 31st of December 2022 were included. Patients receiving ongoing CPR during transport to the hospital were compared with patients pronounced dead at the scene following arrival of the care team. The dependent variable was ongoing CPR during transport to the hospital. The main characteristics and the neurological status of patients surviving to discharge were described. Results: A total of 9321 cases were included, of which 350 (3.7%) were transported to hospital with ongoing CPR. Such patients were young (59.9 ± 20.1 years vs 64.6 ± 16.9 years; p < 0.001; 95%CI: 0.98 [0.98; 0.99]) with arrest taking place outside of the home (151 [44.5%] vs 4045 [68.01%]; p < 0.001; 95%CI: 0.41 [0.31; 0.54]) and being witnessed by EMS (126 [36.0%] vs 667 [11.0%]; p < 0.001; 95%CI: 4.31 [3.19; 5.80]), whilst initial rhythm differed from asystole (164 [47.6%] vs 4325 [73.0%]; p < 0.01; 95%CI: 0.44 [0.33; 0.60]) and a mechanical device was more often employed during resuscitation and transport to hospital (199 [56.9%] vs 2050 [33.8%]; p < 0.001; 95%CI: 2.75 [2.10; 3.59]). Seven patients (2%) were discharged alive from hospital, five with ad integrum neurological recovery (CPC1) and two with minimally impaired neurological function (CPC2). Conclusions: The strategy of ongoing CPR is uncommon in EMS with an onboard physician. Despite their limited efficacy, the availability of mechanical chest compression devices, together with the possibility of specific hospital treatments, mainly ICP and ECMO, opens up the possibility of this approach with determined patients.

In this research paper, the intelligent learning abilities of the gray wolf optimization (GWO), multi-verse optimization (MVO), moth fly optimization, particle swarm optimization (PSO), and whale optimization algorithm (WOA) metaheuristic techniques and the response surface methodology (RSM) has been studied in the prediction of the mechanical properties of self-healing concrete. Bio-concrete technology stimulated by the concentration of bacteria has been utilized as a sustainable structural concrete for the future of the built environment. This is due to the recovery tendency of the concrete structures after noticeable structural failures. However, it requires a somewhat expensive exercise and technology to create the medium for the growth of the bacteria needed for this self-healing ability. The method of data gathering, analysis and intelligent prediction has been adopted to propose parametric relationships between the bacteria usage and the concrete performance in terms of strength and durability. This makes is cheaper to design self-healing concrete structures based on the optimized mathematical relationships and models proposed from this exercise. The performance of the models was tested by using the coefficient of determination (R2), root mean squared errors, mean absolute errors, mean squared errors, variance accounted for and the coefficient of error. At the end of the prediction protocol and model performance evaluation, it was found that the classified metaheuristic techniques outclassed the RSM due their ability to mimic human and animal genetics of mutation. Furthermore, it can be finally remarked that the GWO outclassed the other methods in predicting the concrete slump (Sl) with R2 of 0.998 and 0.989 for the train and test, respectively, the PSO outclassed the rest in predicting the flexural strength with R2 of 0.989 and 0.937 for train and test, respectively and the MVO outclassed the others in predicting the compressive strength with R2 of 0.998 and 0.958 for train and test, respectively.

Introduction: We introduce the third case reported in the literature of an atypical presentation of pleomorphic adenoma located in the nasal vestibule of a young patient who assisted at our clinic. Case Report: A young man with no important medical history consulted due to a painless mass-type slow-growth lesion associated with right nasal obstruction. He underwent surgical management and complete resection of the mass. The pathological study revealed a pleomorphic adenoma, confirmed by immunohistochemistry. Conclusion: This case confirms that pleomorphic adenomas can occur anywhere in the head and neck, even in areas without upper air-digestive tract mucosa.

The prevalence and incidence of obesity and the comorbidities linked to it are increasing worldwide. Current therapies for obesity and associated pathologies have proven to cause a broad number of adverse effects, and often, they are overpriced or not affordable for all patients. Among the alternatives currently available, natural bioactive compounds stand out. These are frequently contained in pharmaceutical presentations, nutraceutical products, supplements, or functional foods. The clinical evidence for these molecules is increasingly solid, among which epigallocatechin-3-gallate, ellagic acid, resveratrol, berberine, anthocyanins, probiotics, carotenoids, curcumin, silymarin, hydroxy citric acid, and α-lipoic acid stand out. The molecular mechanisms and signaling pathways of these molecules have been shown to interact with the endocrine, nervous, and gastroenteric systems. They can regulate the expression of multiple genes and proteins involved in starvation-satiety processes, activate the brown adipose tissue, decrease lipogenesis and inflammation, increase lipolysis, and improve insulin sensitivity. This review provides a comprehensive view of nature-based therapeutic options to address the increasing prevalence of obesity. It offers a valuable perspective for future research and subsequent clinical practice, addressing everything from the molecular, genetic, and physiological bases to the clinical study of bioactive compounds.

This review focuses on Pulmonary Alveolar Microlithiasis (PAM), an autosomal recessive genetic disorder characterized by calcium crystal deposits (microliths) resulting from loss of function of the SLC34A2 gene. PAM is a rare disease with approximately 1100 reported cases globally. The historical context of its discovery and the genetic, epidemiological, and pathophysiological aspects are discussed. PAM falls under interstitial lung diseases and is associated with pulmonary hypertension (PH), primarily categorized as Group 3 PH. The clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and challenging aspects of treatment are explored. A clinical case of PAM with severe pulmonary hypertension is presented, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive evaluation and the potential benefits of phosphodiesterase-5 inhibitors (PDE5i) therapy. Despite limited therapeutic options and challenging diagnosis, this review sheds light on recent developments and emerging treatments for PAM and associated pulmonary hypertension.

Near infrared (NIR, 700-1000 nm) and short-wave infrared (SWIR, 1000-2000 nm) dye molecules exhibit significant nonradiative decay rates from the first singlet excited state to the ground state. While these trends can be empirically explained by a simple energy gap law, detailed mechanisms of nearly universal behavior have remained unsettled for many cases. Theoretical and experimental results for two representative NIR/SWIR dye molecules reported here clarify the key mechanism for the observed energy gap law behavior. It is shown that the first derivative nonadiabatic coupling terms serve as major coupling pathways for nonadiabatic decay processes from the first excited singlet state to the ground state for these NIR and SWIR dye molecules and that vibrational modes other than the highest frequency modes also make significant contributions to the rate. This assessment is corroborated by further theoretical comparison with possible alternative mechanisms of intersystem crossing to triplet states and also by comparison with experimental data for deuterated molecules.

Generating large mechanical power during actions such as sprinting or jumping is a crucial factor in many sports. These types of actions require a good warm-up activation. Capacitive-Resistive Electric Transfer (CRET) is a non-invasive therapy based on the application of radio frequency electric currents within the range of 300 kHz-1.2 MHz to accelerate tissue metabolic activity. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of adding CRET to an active warm-up protocol in young adult athletes. For the double-blind randomized clinical trial, 60 healthy athletes were recruited and divided into an Experimental group (EG) and a Sham group (SG). EG received a CRET protocol in addition to an active warm-up. SG carried out the same warm-up but with a placebo CRET. The main outcome measures were isometric extension force, countermovement-jump (CMJ), 30 m-sprint test, and surface electromyography (sEMG). There is no statistically significant interaction (group-time) for any of the variables studied. Significant main effects for time were found in isometric extension force (p = 0.008); 30 m sprint (p = 0.017); rectus femoris sEMG during CMJ (p = 0.002); vastus lateralis sEMG during CMJ (p = 0.012); vastus medialis during CMJ (p = 0.010) and rectus femoris sEMG during the 30 m sprint test (p = 0.012). Non-significant differences between means are observed in the isometric extension force (48.91 EG; 10.87 SG) and 30 m sprint (-0.13 EG; -0.04 SG) variables. To conclude, a non-significant tendency was observed in sprint and quadriceps strength following CRET therapy, compared to the individuals' pre-treatment state. Future research should use more treatment sessions to observe this tendency.

Right heart catheterization (RHC) represents the gold standard diagnostic approach for pulmonary hypertension (PH). Historically, the complication rates of RHC are known to be low. The study aimed to evaluate the indications for performing RHC and the occurrence of adverse events related to the procedure in patients > over 70 years of age in a Mexican Tertiary Care Center. We conducted a retrospective single-center registry from July 2017 to July 2022. A total of 517 patients with suspected PH underwent RHC. The cohort included patients <70 (n = 427) and ≥70 years of age (n = 90). Adverse events were classified as major (eg, death, pneumothorax, and carotid artery puncture) and minor (eg, atrial arrhythmia, superior vena cava dissection, incidental arterial puncture, and local hematoma). Appropriate hemodynamic parameters were recorded. No report of major adverse events in the entire cohort. In the <70 years age group, 9 minor events, and 3 minor events were in the ≥70-year-old patients (P < 0.0001). There was a significant difference in the measurement of mean pulmonary artery pressure (mPAP) between the <70 years old vs ≥70 years old (P < 0.001); there was a significant difference in right atrial pressures: 4.71 ± 3.14 mmHg in the <70-year-old vs 4.07 ± 1.94 mmHg for the ≥ 70-year-old group (P = 0.014). Our findings suggest that RHC can be safely performed in patients aged ≥70 years using different vascular access routes without significant major complications.

Head trauma is frequently related to the misuse of drinking vessels as weapons. Forensic reports usually evaluate these blunt injuries as having occurred in scenarios where the alcohol intake is high. Fatal consequences are seen in blows with glass bottles aiming at the head. To prove the outcome that a glass bottle thrown to the head could cause, three intact human cadaver heads were impacted with 1-liter glass bottles at 9.5 m/s using a drop-tower. The impact location covered the left temporal bone, sphenoid bone, and zygomatic arch. The contact between the head and the bottle was produced at an angle of 90° with (1) the valve of the bottle, (2) the bottom of the bottle, and (3) with the head rotated 20° in the frontal plane touching again with the bottom of the bottle. The three bottles remained intact after the impact, and the injury outcomes were determined by computed tomography (CT). The alterations were highly dependent on the impact orientation. The outcome varied from no injury to severe bone fractures. In the most injurious case (#3), fractures were identified in the cranial base, sphenoid bone, and zygomatic bone. These testing conditions were selected to replicate one specific legal case, as required by the plaintiff. Physical disputes with bar glassware can lead to complex combinations of blunt and sharp-force injuries. Controlled biomechanical studies can benefit forensic analyses of violence involving glassware by providing a better understanding of the underlying injury mechanisms.

Hypothyroidism has been shown to have several effects on organs, including derangements in the coagulation system, impairing endothelial function, but data on the importance of hypothyroidism in the pathogenesis and development of chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension (CTEPH) are limited. This report presents an updated review of the prevalence and prognosis of hypothyroidism in patients diagnosed with CTEPH, including a detailed retrospective description of the series. The descriptive case series included 34 adult patients diagnosed with CTEPH, of whom 11 patients were diagnosed with hypothyroidism. The prevalence of hypothyroidism in CTEPH was found to be 32.35%. All patients with hypothyroidism had NYHA functional Class II-III. Hemodynamic values obtained through right heart catheterization (RHC) showed that patients with hypothyroidism had significantly higher mean pulmonary arterial pressures (mPAP), with a mean of 56.91 mm Hg vs 43.93 mm Hg (p = 0.026), and the PVR in dynes/sec/cm5 was 932 vs 541 (p = 0.027). Significant differences in PVR were found in wood units (WU) 11.91 vs 7.11 (p = 0.042). The mean level of brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) between both groups was 797.3 pg/mL for patients with hypothyroidism vs 262.02 pg/mL in patients with euthyroidism (p = .032). Hypothyroidism may significantly affect patients' clinical and hemodynamic outcomes in patients with CTEPH. Hypothyroidism as a risk factor in the evaluation and treatment of these patients is vital to optimize outcomes in CTEPH; further research is warranted whether hypothyroidism therapies could alter such outcomes.

IMPORTANCE: The study summarises the selection prescreen criteria currently used in the UK for a uterus transplant and highlights the number of women who are suitable to proceed. OBJECTIVES: To assess the demographics, motivations, reasons and suitability among women with absolute uterine factor infertility (AUFI) to undergo uterine transplantation (UTx). DESIGN: A cross-sectional survey. SETTING: An electronic questionnaire was sent via email to women with AUFI who had previously been referred to the UTx research team or approached the Womb Transplant UK Charity. The questions assessed suitability to undergo UTx based on demographic information, perceptions to adoption and surrogacy and reasons why UTx was preferable. Responses were assessed against the study selection criteria. PARTICIPANTS: Women with AUFI. RESULTS: 210 women completed the questionnaire. The most common aetiology of AUFI in our cohort was Mayer-Rokitansky-Küster-Hauser (68%; n=143) whereas 29% (n=62) had previously undergone hysterectomy. 63% (n=132) of the cohort had previously considered adoption, 5% (n=11) had attempted it and 2 (1%) had successfully adopted. The most common reason cited to undergo UTx over adoption was to experience gestation (n=63; 53%), while 37% (n=44) wanted a biologically related child. 76% (n=160) of participants had previously considered surrogacy, 22 (10%) had attempted it and 2 (1%) had successfully become mothers using a surrogate. The most common reason to undergo UTx over surrogacy was to experience gestation (n=77; 54%). 15% (n=21) were concerned about the legal implications, 14% (n=20) identified the financial cost as a barrier and 8% (n=12) could not consider it due to religious reasons. On adhering to the selection criteria, 65 (31%) women were suitable to proceed with the trial. CONCLUSION: The study demonstrates that implementing commonly used selection criteria for a UTx led to an attrition rate of more than two-thirds of women who requested to initially undergo the process. As more studies present outcomes following UTx, critical assessment of the selection criteria currently used is warranted to ensure potential recipients are not being unnecessarily excluded. Antecedentes y objetivos: La artritis reumatoide (AR) cursa generalmente con una afectación mayor en el miembro superior, pudiendo ocasionar dificultades en el desempeño de actividades en el día a día. El objetivo principal de este estudio fue establecer la relación entre la autoeficacia, la intensidad del dolor y la duración de los síntomas en pacientes con AR, y analizar cómo y en qué medida cada uno de ellos influye en la discapacidad funcional, así como, conocer el valor predictivo de la autoeficacia sobre las demás variables. Métodos: Estudio transversal con una muestra de 117 mujeres con AR. Las variables de evaluación empleadas fueron la escala visual analógica (EVA), el cuestionario QuickDASH y la escala española de autoeficacia en enfermedades reumáticas. Resultados: Los resultados muestran que el modelo más significativo para la función (R2=0,35) incluye la variable función y dolor, por lo que, sí hay relación existente entre la autoeficacia, la intensidad del dolor y la funcionalidad del miembro superior, así como la asociación de las puntuaciones obtenidas en la EVA, QuickDASH y la escala española de autoeficacia en enfermedades reumáticas para su evaluación. Discusión y conclusiones: Nuestros resultados, concuerdan con estudios previos donde se establece la posible relación entre la autoeficacia y la discapacidad funcional, así como la autoeficacia y su relación con funciones físicas, demostrando que un bajo nivel de autoeficacia implica una disminución de la funcionalidad, pero sin que ninguna variable sea más predictora que otra.(AU)


Background and objectives: Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) primarily affects the upper limbs and can cause disturbances in the performance of daily activities. The main objective of this study was to establish the relationship between self-efficacy, pain intensity, and duration of symptoms in patients with RA and analyse how each influences functional disability, and to determine the predictive value of self-efficacy over the other variables. Methods: Cross-sectional study with a sample of 117 women diagnosed with RA. The endpoints were the visual analogue scale (VAS), Quick-DASH questionnaire and the Spanish scale of self-efficacy in rheumatic diseases. Results: The most significant model for function (R2=0.35) includes function and pain, therefore, there is a relationship between self-efficacy, pain intensity, and upper limb functionality. Discussion and conclusions: Our results agree with previous studies where a relationship between self-efficacy and functional disability is established, as well as self-efficacy and its relationship with physical functions, demonstrating that a low level of self-efficacy implies a decrease in functionality; however, no variable is more predictive than another.(AU)

Background: Post-COVID disabilities, encompassing physical, cognitive, and psychological aspects, constitute the primary health sequelae for survivors. While the rehabilitation needs post COVID-19 are now well understood, each country possesses unique characteristics in terms of populations, healthcare systems, social dynamics, and economic profiles, necessitating context-specific recommendations. This study aims to address two main objectives: (1) analyze the impact of an 8-week multidisciplinary rehabilitation program on the quality of life, functional capacity, cognition, and mental health adaptations in adults recovering from COVID-19 in northern Chile, and (2) propose a personalized model for predicting program dropouts and responses. Methods: A total of 44 subjects were enrolled, forming two groups during the study: a treatment group (n = 32) and a dropout group (n = 12). The treatment group participated in the 8-week multidisciplinary rehabilitation program. Results: The results indicate that (1) After 8 weeks, the quality of life of the patients in the treatment group exhibited significant improvements reflected in all aspects of the Short Form-36 Health Survey (SF36, p < 0.005) and the total score (p < 0.001), with a concurrent decrease in dysfunctionality (p < 0.001). (2) Significant improvements were also observed in various physical performance tests, including the: 6-minute walk test, 1-min sit-to-stand, dynamometry, Tinetti balance, and Berg score (p < 0.001). Moreover, physical therapy led to a reduction in neuropathic symptoms and pain, psychological therapy reduced anxiety and depression, and language therapy enhanced memory and speech (all p < 0.05). (3) Demographic and clinical history characteristics did not predict responses to rehabilitation. (4) A regression model for predicting changes in SF-36 total score, based on physical function, physical role, general health, and mental health, was established based on the data from study (p < 0.01, adjusted R2 = 0.893). (5) Classification models for predicting dropouts achieved 68% accuracy, with key predictors of treatment adherence including diabetes, hypertension, and dyslipidemia, Tinetti balance, physical role, and vitality of SF36, and performance on the 6-minute walk test and 1-minute sit-to-stand. Conclusions: This study demonstrates significant enhancements in quality of life, improved functional performance, and reductions in mental and cognitive burdens within an 8-week rehabilitation program. Additionally, it is possible to identify patients at risk of dropping out using cost-effective, outpatient, and clinically applicable tests.
